Getting ready for the trip
It has been an adventure just planning this trip. It started with a deal that we were offered on a 14 day cruise around New Zealand. We planned a few weeks before the cruise in S. Australia and a few weeks after the cruise in the great barrier reef area.
A week ago, the cruise line contacted us and told us that it was WAY overbooked and offered us an alternative. For the same amount of money we are going on a 24 day cruise in the mediteranean in August. So now instead of cruising New Zealand we will stay in New Zealand for the two weeks we would have been cruising.
